Giavanna has combined her passions and academic interests for advocacy and justice since she was a teenager. When she was only 15, she went to study in Azul, Argentina as an exchange student. She stayed there for two and a half years as she became fluent in the Spanish Language. She then graduated from high school in Azul with an expertise of South American culture. In 2022, she interned with the Office of Social Impact at The Department of Homeland Security where she pursued her dream of protecting our country through the lens of social justice. In 2023, she graduated from Quinnipiac University, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology & Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies. She also had the honor of being the 2023 Quinnipiac University Commencement Speaker for the School of Arts & Sciences. Gratefully, her position as the NACP Coordinator has finally allowed her to begin her journey in victim services.
