The National Runaway Safeline is the national communications system designated by the United States federal government for runaway and homeless youth, their parents and families, teens in crisis, and others who might benefit from its services. The National Runaway Safeline (NRS) is here to listen whether you are thinking of running away or already have. Their services are confidential and nonjudgmental. The 1-800-RUNAWAY hotline and 1800RUNAWAY.org online crisis services are available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year throughout the United States and its territories, including Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam.
