Culturally Specific Communities on Campus Project

Equipping campuses to create culturally responsive, trauma-informed support for survivors

The purpose of the NOVA Supporting Culturally Specific Communities on Campus project is to provide basic and advanced training and technical assistance to OVW Campus Program grantees of higher education on building and strengthening culturally responsive, inclusive, services and response efforts for diverse, underserved, and historically marginalized communities on campus. NOVA and its project partners develop culturally responsive and trauma informed material to address the prevention and response needs of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking (DVSAS) through: podcasts, webinars, virtual and in-person site-visits, resources, and listening sessions.
