Training for Advocates Working with Trafficking Survivors
NOVA’s Human Trafficking Response Academy is an introductory to intermediate level training course designed for victim advocates and allied professionals working with survivors of human trafficking. This training academy includes topics pertaining to both forms of human trafficking: sex trafficking and labor trafficking (forced labor). Through engaging online training and access to dynamic, experienced instructors, those who complete this course will feel better equipped to respond and support trafficking survivors.
While there is no prerequisite for this course, those enrolling should already have reasonable foundational knowledge in victim services.

Who Attends?
This is a foundational training dedicated to human trafficking response services. There is no prerequisite to take the course, however, those enrolling should already have reasonable foundational knowledge in victim services.

Cost
NOVA Member Rate: $350/person.
Non-Member Rate: $400/person.

HTRA’s make-up policy ensures that all class sessions will be recorded and participants will have the opportunity to make up two missed sessions in order to receive a certificate for completion. Every HTRA class allows participants the unique opportunity to engage with subject matter experts in real time, which makes attendance a critical part to maximize learning.
